Cynthia Sysol

Assistant General Counsel

A rising attorney in the legal community, Cynthia Sysol is responsible for all legal matters at RecoverCare. Handling regulatory, healthcare, employment, intellectual property, litigation, compliance, and contract issues, Sysol has developed a diverse legal background and has quickly emerged as a company leader.

Sysol's dedication to thorough analysis has driven sound business decisions throughout many company departments. With experience in both the legal and business realms, she plays an integral role in acquisition exercises and supports all major sales, marketing, operational, and commercial objectives.

Sysol joined RecoverCare immediately following graduation from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. At Brandeis, she held the position of Vice President of the Animal Legal Defense Fund and was a member of the Moot Court and Professional Skills Board. A published author in the Journal of Law and Education, participant in Focus Louisville and a member of the Ignite Louisville Class of 2012, Sysol has earned a reputation as one of the region's leading young professionals.

Sysol holds both her bachelor's degree in Psychology and her juris doctor from the University of Louisville and was inducted into the University's Woodcock Society for outstanding scholarship.

A native to Louisville, Kentucky, Sysol is active in many local charities and devoted to her family. A life long athlete, she now spends her time coaching competitive and high school girl's soccer teams.
