The RecoverAir Safety 100 is a convertible, self adjusting, pressure redistributing mattress replacement system providing prevention and early stage treatment of pressure ulcers, as well as fall risk reduction. As a convertible system it can be used as a non powered mattress supplying pressure redistribution through 12 foam filled, self adjusting air cells. With the optional control unit it “converts” to an alternating pressure system to increase its level of therapeutic benefit. The patented RC Safety Perimeter system is incorporated into the mattress to reduce the risk of patient falls.
